You can check out the write up by Mike on Down the Byline or by Kyle at Hillcrest Road for more detail but I wanted to post a couple observations and a few photos... I am not sure who the keeper was for the Brass in the first half but he did a good job. Yeah he gave up a goal but he was facing the Wizards first team (minus Wolff and Hirsig).
Here he blocks a shot by Gomez...
And stones Claudio Lopez (wonder if that is the first time he blocked a World Cup player)
Of course Jimmy looks good even without sleeves...

The Brass keepers in the second half had a tougher time...

When you are a goalie, you hate to see the ball from that angle...

Hirsig helped the second team dominate in the second half...

Morsink goes high for a header...

Kraus was playing right back for the second team in this scrimmage. He did get forward a bit though. Here he carried the ball up the wing...

Poked it across the box...

For a sliding Wolff...

To put it away for one of his two goals in the game...

I think Josh should be on Dancing with the Stars!!!

Could the person responsible for the Brass's web site please update it? Need some new photos maybe?

Amen about the Brass site, it's a horrible site that doesn't provide much of any information.
ReplyDeleteJimmy should go sleeveless all the time....studly.
