Signboard at the last Wizards game promoting the World Cup Bid web site...
"Kansas City: the American City" signboard representing Kansas City's bid to be one of the host cities. Not sure if I really like that slogan but it has my full support to bring the World Cup to Kansas City.
Kansas City has a good chance at becoming one of those cities. Recent improvements around the city at and at Arrowhead have drastically improved Kansas City's odds.
Please go to the bid site and sign up. Make sure you put in your zip so the organizers can see the interest from this area.
Even if you are not a soccer fan, sign up. The amount of money that could be brought into this community is incredible. Do it for Kansas City if not for soccer.
