Santiago Hirsig interview 9/22/09

I talked with Santiago Hirsig Tuesday. I asked about getting his first goal with the Wizards.

He is a little shy about speaking in English and my Spanish is not great so the interview was a little short. His English is better than he thinks...

  1. Santi went and spoke to a Spanish-language class at KU on sport in Latin America that a friend of mine is teaching the other night and was a *huge* hit. Very thoughtful and eloquent, with a wide variety of interests. We're only getting the tip of the iceberg in English, apparently.

  2. I would believe that. He seems quite intelligent. His English is quite good for someone who has only been here for a short time.
