KC Wizards 2 - 2 DC United (other shots)

Before the last game, a few players and front office people came out to the tailgates to socialize and drop off some "refreshments". Adam Cristman is injuried so he was out there...

Kevin Souter, currently on the DL and doing a great job as a fill in broadcaster stopped by also. Here is posing with Mike of Down the Byline fame...

At press conferences and other events I often talk to Corey who produces the Wizards broadcasts. I asked of I could go into the "truck" during a broadcast to see what it was like. It was cool. They were talking to the broadcast team, feeding them facts and sending various cameras to get shots set up all while watching the game and preparing replays. Even though it would be too busy for a normal broadcast I would like to listen to that once in while. Kind of like the "directors comments" on a DVD, well a lot like it but with a lot more energy and humor.

I just happened to be in there when the PK was called for a (pretty light) bump in the Wizards box. This photo is the PK.

Kevin reacts to almost getting to it...

After the game, Claudio came over and tossed his jersey into the Cauldron...

This guy won the scrum for and came up with the game worn jersey...

Kevin Hartman also visited the Cauldron right after the game. He gave fans his gloves and shoes, posed for photos and signed a few autographs before security hustled him off. All the players were getting cleaned up and coming back out to sign autographs for fans but I was a little disappointed that more players did not come say thanks to the Cauldron. Class move by Claudio and Kevin.

Once the players came back out to some tables, fans had lined up way back into the stands to get autographs. Claudio and his son both signed this ball...

Conrad and Hohlbein...

Kamara looking stylish...

Hartman signing pink jerseys...

A couple fans had their foreheads signed by Claudio Lopez, not sure why the forehead but they were happy...

As each fan walked off, Wizards VP David Ficklin thanked them. Good move Mr Ficklin.
