Comets 10 - 14 Vipers

The Comets got off to a good start in the first half. A 3 pointer by Gibson in the first quarter started the scoring for the Comets. In the 2nd, a 3 pointer from Moura followed by 2 pointers from Assadpour and Alvarez staked the Comets to a 10-4 lead at half. Other than the first goal, Walton played really well in the first three quarters.

Vipers forward Chile Farias edged Omaha closer in the 3rd but the Comets maintained a 10-6 lead at the end of the third. The 4th was just all downhill for the Comets. The Vipers scored 4 times to take the lead and a couple of those goals were a bit soft. Farias scored a bicycle that was anything but soft though. It was a fantastic shot from outside the box that left even Missouri fans applauding the skill.

The Comets travel to Omaha Sunday to take the Vipers on again at 3:10.
