Comets 6 - 22 Baltimore (photos and interviews)

The Missouri Comets probably played their worst game so far and remain winless at home. While the team was able to control the ball and were able to get into the attack well, they were unable to consistently finish. The bigger problem was the defensive breakdowns that resulted in 2 on 1's, 1 on 1's with the keeper and unmarked players at the back post. It seemed individually defenders in particular and all the players in general played well but did not work well as a team.

Boris Pardo got his first start in goal. While it was not his best game, he was hung out to dry numerous times. Boris did come up big on a couple breakaways.

While Boris did not seem to get much help from his defense throughout the game, Brian Harris did save a goal off the line on this play...

Pardo did not have a lot of help from his defense...

Recently signed Will John looked dangerous but never found the net. He hustled and pressured the opposing keeper well, especially in the first half.
