Last week a few Sporting KC players gave a clinic for the National Sports Center for the Disabled. Kevin Ellis, Luke Sassano, Seth Sinovic and Graham Zusi were all really great with the kids and all appeared to have a genuinely fun time.

In the article it is mentioned that funding was cut for the local chapter of the NSCD so they will not be able to host events like this for Kansas City special needs kids. Kansas City Parks and Recreation has said they would continue these events but nothing was in writing as of last week. Hopefully KC Parks and Rec does continue these for the area families.
